Catholic Guides of Ireland
De Catholic Guides of Ireland (Irish: Banóglaigh Catoilicí na hÉireann) is een van de twee nationale meisjes takken van Scouting in de republiek Ierland. Voluit "Bantreoraithe Catoilici na hEireann - Catholic Guides of Ireland". De andere organisatie is Irish Girl Guides (IGG). De Catholic Guides (CGI) zijn ook actief in Noord-Ierland, waar de IGG enkele opereert in de republiek. Daar de WAGGGS slechts 1 organisatie per land erkend zijn de twee organisaties ondergebracht in de Council of Irish Guiding Associations.

Rond het ontstaan van scouting in 1907 behoorde Ierland nog bij het Verenigd Koninkrijk waardoor het in dezelfde tijd ook ontstond in Ierland gevolgd door de Girl Guides in 1910.
In 1928 werd de eerste (Katholieke) Gidsen Organisatie gestart in Ierland, de “Clanna Bride". De naam van de organisatie werd in 1933 veranderd in "Bantreoraithe Catoilici na hEireann - Catholic Guides of Ireland“
De organisatie werd in 1972 door de bisschoppen gereorganiseerd waarbij elk bisom verantwoordelijk werd voor hun eigen afdelingen en groepen. Deze reorganisatie werd in 1992 terug gedraaid en de Bantreoraithe Catoilici na hEireann - Catholic Guides of Ireland werd weer leven in geblazen.
