Scouting in Ecuador wordt ondersteund door verschillende organisaties. Een aantal van deze organisaties zijn ook vertegenwoordigd in de provincie Galápagos (Galapagoseilanden)
Ontstaan[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
De scouting beweging in Ecuador is begonnen in 1920. De eerste brigades begonnen op scholen. De gidsen zouden in 1919 al begonnen zijn. Het duurde tot 1952 dat de gidsen nationaal werden georganiseerd.
